With this straight forward and easy to use phone from Kyocera, you’ll always understand the Lingo.
The phone was created for Cricket Communication users. Yes young grasshopper, Cricket is a cell phone service provider within the United States.
The Lingo has a decent thickness at about 0.79 inches, but not too overbearing considering it folds open for a full keyboard text station complete with a second screen.
The phone itself is comfortable to use, easy to hear, and compact enough to not be a burden. I would recommend this phone to younger individuals that spend most of their day texting each other answers for their exams.
The Lingo is built for the texting fiend without all the unnecessary gizmo’s and doodad’s, although it does feature a 1.3 megapixel camera and bluetooth.
The clamshell Lingo PDA phone measures 3.94 x 1.97 x 0.79-inches and weighs 3.5 ounces. The battery lasts about 3.25 hours (talktime) and 150 hours (standby). It also sports a high-end ergonomic design, full QWERTY keyboard, an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera, voice recognition, dual-color displays, Bluetooth connectivity, and build-in speaker.
A productivity tools are provided, including a scheduler, calculator, alarm clock, stopwatch, tip calculator, countdown timer, and voice memos.
The phone supports Cricket’s Mobile Web and Cricket’s Games & Apps services. The former allows users to browse news, entertainment, and sports; chat; and personalize their cell phones with ringtones and graphics; while the latter lets users download and play various Java games.
