The cotton is light with a grainy, somewhat coarse knit, absolutely ideal for hot summer days or lounging around the house.
 
If you happen to be the type of person that doesn’t like to wear pants, you’ll be pleased to find that the pre-shrunk Tilley cotton drawstrings are so light and non-obtrusive it’s hard to remember whether or not you even put them on.
 
There are two large side pockets and one inside zippered pocket.  I personally love the breathability and have even grown to like the slightly rough texture.
