The Red Sea Star is the first underwater Restaurant and Bar. It’s located in the busy tourist destination of Eilat, which is Israel’s southernmost city. The underwater eatery is only 5m (16 ft.) below the surface of the Red Sea (on the Gulf of Eilat), so there’s no need for a decompression chamber, and there’s plenty of natural light to “sea” the beautiful corals and marine life. The ocean inspired decor offers an enchanting environment that is dually suitable for romance or children. With sea cucumber columns and jellyfish chairs it’s difficult to abate a tacky atmosphere, but with sandy floors covered with clear epoxy and a variety of exotic dishes the Red Sea Star pulled it off.

The restaurant of the Red Sea Star has seating for 105 guests. By about 10 in the evening the restaurant turns mostly to a bar. There’s also a dance bar outside (above the restaurant) where you can enjoy scenic views of the Edom Mountains. At night the underwater garden surrounding the “Star” is softly lit, without disturbing its natural inhabitants (using specific wave lengths of light).

The restaurant of the Red Sea Star is open daily (including weekends and holidays) from 12:00 a.m. till 24:00 p.m.

I’ve been playing around with Rosetta Stone for a couple weeks now, and it really is the best tool I’ve ever seen for learning a new language. With 31 languages, the programs focus on immersion with no translation.
Basically, it’s a more organized and highly accelerated scenario of being dropped off in a foreign country; your brain connects words with images to learn naturally without memorization.

Rosetta Stone uses native speakers together with proprietary speech recognition analysis to make sure you don’t sound like a stereotypic heavy accented foreigner. You can set the speech precision level on easy, normal, medium, difficult, or even custom depending on whether your interests lie with merely understanding the language or perfecting its pronunciation. The special contextual formation and adaptive recall methods will make sure you have the confidence and cues you need to not only retain the language, but to get the words out on the spot for fluent communication. Check out the demo.

After learning a core lesson, you continue through various activities and reviews. This process continues, adding more core lessons followed by more actives until you reach a milestone activity that uses your speech alone to navigate. These highly focused activities make learning fun and efficient. If you’re serious about learning a new language there’s no point in wasting time on a different program; learn quickly with Rosetta Stone and you will succeed.

Also look for the SteriPen Adventurer with the Solar Charging Case. This item is not recommended for individuals seeking to contract Cholera, Botulism, or sound travel habits.

*The UV light doesn’t actually alter the water aside from protecting you against various microbes, pathogens and germs, i.e. you will not gain super powers.

SPEC’S

SteriPEN Traveler also features a soft-touch coating, offering a comfortable texture in your hand and scratch resistance in harsh environments

Requires no pumping, chemicals, test strips, extended time-keeping or filters; leaves no aftertaste, will not clog and does not require lubrication

Innovative SteriPEN system uses UV light rays instead of chemicals to purify water for drinking

Ultraviolet (UV-C) light rays safely sterilize clear water by destroying 99.99% of protozoa (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium), bacteria and even viruses

SteriPEN protects you from risks that cause botulism, cholera, dysentery and typhoid, just to name a few

SteriPEN Traveler is simple to use: Just press a button and gently agitate the water with a quick stir

Purifies 16 fl. oz. of water (cold or warm) in less than a minute, or 32 fl. oz. in a minute and a half

Small size fits most containers—use it in cups, mugs, water bottles and canteens; carries easily in a shirt pocket

SteriPEN Traveler turns itself off once ultraviolet treatment is complete; light source can be used up to 5,000 times!

Watertight seals keep water away from the electronics; rubberized coating ensures secure handling in wet conditions

Low-power indicator lets you know when batteries need replacing; twist-off cap permits easy battery access

Long used by municipal water districts and bottling companies, low-level UV-C light treats water safely, and unit’s light will not damage eyes or skin

SteriPEN Traveler includes two nonrechargeable lithium CR123A batteries

Use only on clear water, as cloudy, sediment-laden water hinders effectiveness

SteriPEN Traveler features convenient battery access, water bottle and military canteen compatibility and an embroidered nylon canvas carrying case

SteriPEN water purifiers meet U.S. Environmental Protection Agency standards for microbiological water purifiers and have been independently tested by the Oregon Health Sciences University and the universities of Arizona and Maine. For complete test results visit www.steripen.com.

Support more than your bike with this cause conscious rack by award winning designer Fabio Pedrini. Five Bone$ will be donated to breast cancer research with every sale of the 801p pink Saris bones 3 bike carrier.

I like women that like pink; it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t match the color of your car, it’s pink! Guys on the other hand might want to find another way to contribute to breast cancer research. Pink anything on a dudes car just doesn’t work, you might as well have a sparkly pink sticker across the back of a VW Cabriolet that reads fairy god princess.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Some cars with glass hatches may require the Saris Hatch Huggers glass hatch adaptors. We recommend using the Saris Racks Fit Guide to find if the Bones 3 is compatible with your car, van or SUV and also if the Saris Hatch Huggers are required.

The Saris Bones bike racks can carry all types of bicycles, however, for women’s bike frames, kids bicycles and non-traditional bike frames found on downhill & free-ride mountain bikes we recommend using a Top-Tube bike frame adapter (not included) for super-easy loading and transport of these unconventional bike frame designs.
