The design entails rearranging the CD player components to accommodate the antique style. The wooden base holds the electrical PCB board while the needle arm carries the electric eye. The electric speaker is situated just below the trumpet style speaker.

It doesn’t seem long ago that CD’s were the new marvel of music technology, yet there isn’t a kid today that would walk outside with a disc-man; it’s Mp3 or nothing. Maybe Yong & Ama should work on an Mp3 player that looks like an 8-track.

[Get It $20]
Have you ever had a five way with a Rockstar?
I’m fairly confident that I’ll never need to aurally hook up five people at once via headphone, but I’m equally confident that the iPod generation is already salivating over the prospect of getting Belkin Rockstars in their stockings this Christmas. Of course, you [...]

What’s more, is that all the ports can be toggled between input or output functionality, so you can plug in multiple music players at the same time, which might be handy if you use the hub as a multi switch for a stereo or speaker set-up.

For those of you wondering who would pay such an exuberant price for a record player, you may want to first consider the question, “who still buy’s records”? Well, as it turns out, there are quite a few vinyl freaks out there and this turntable is their version of a wet dream.
If you happen to be one of these vinylheads who believes everything was better when you were a kid, then go ahead, empty out your 401k and buy yourself the Clear Audio Master Reference Turntable so you can listen to all your dilapidated records. While you’re at it, why don’t you pick up some 35mm film for your Cinematographe so you can capture some home movies; or perhaps you’d rather finger paint your memories on the walls of your cave.

The Clear Audio Master Reference Turntable is a marvel of hand-made German excellence, it features three separate motors that are synchronized by an Accurate Power Generator (APG) , master reference chassis, a master TQ-I tonearm and unique “Side-Force-Free” belt drive system. The unit sits on six legs for a resonance-free experience, which might become useful if you ever choose to double the unit as a centrifuge.
