Yong Jieyu and Ama Xue Hong Bin are two designers that have put their own spin on the CD Player. Obviously, this design isn’t terribly practical beyond the scope of a novelty, yet it’s so darn cleaver that I can’t help but want one; too bad it’s only a concept and not an actual consumer product.
The design entails rearranging the CD player components to accommodate the antique style. The wooden base holds the electrical PCB board while the needle arm carries the electric eye. The electric speaker is situated just below the trumpet style speaker.
It doesn’t seem long ago that CD’s were the new marvel of music technology, yet there isn’t a kid today that would walk outside with a disc-man; it’s Mp3 or nothing. Maybe Yong & Ama should work on an Mp3 player that looks like an 8-track.

If I could make love to any piano in the world, it would probably be this one. Of course that’s a ridiculous assertion, everybody knows that piano’s reproduce asexually.
The name of this beauty is the M. Liminal and it was designed by Philippe Gendre and the NYT Line. The instrument is made in Italy by the Fazioli Company. If you were wondering, the design was inspired by the sea, the shape of the side evokes the profile of a wave while the black-silver colour that of silver-surfer; or a dolphin, I can’t remember which.

[Moe Info]

Does anyone like a single theme song from a James Bond movie? If there was an Oscar for worst lead-in to a film, the psychedelic double O7 bounce-around intro’s would have the longest running streak in cinematic history. Maybe number 22 is a charm and the first musical duet in Bond history will likewise be the first JB theme that doesn’t require mushrooms and peyote to enjoy.
The eccentric guitarist/vocalist and the Princess of soul have recorded the theme song “Another Way to Die” for the most recent James Bond adventure titled “Quantum of Solace,”. The soundtrack will be released by J Records on October 28th, 2008, while the movie is set to début on the 7th of November.
*Is it double O seven or double zero seven?
