I can’t believe it’s not butter!
What better way to remind yourself that you skipped breakfast than a big appetizing notepad sitting in front of your face all day. Toast Notes by those clever chaps at Fred & Friends consists of a small post-it pad atop a squishy life like piece of toast. It’s hard not to smile every time you jot a note on this set-up; so have fun with your post-its and individualize your desktop. Aside from the hunger cramps induced by seeing food 24/7, you’ll never regret a little extra flare in your stationery.

Finally, a pet you don’t have to feed, clean-up after, or take to the vet! Dozi’s only requirement is that you always have a fresh supply of paperclips.
In his natural environment, Dozi is actually bald, and though the paperclips aren’t fooling anybody, Dozi will get quite self conscious without them. Depending on your decor, you might prefer Mrs. Dozi in Pink, just be prepared for an earful if you use up all her paperclips.
Korean designer Mika Kim adds another novel character to Alessi’s playful line of home and office products. The porcupine-like creature is fashioned from smooth PMMA plastic and holds paperclips magnetically to its body. Choose from a variety of colors.
Can also be used for other metal objects such as sewing needles or liquid mercury.

I assure you that this puerile laptop case will make an impression at your next office meeting. I’ve even heard that Bush’s cabinet members use these during briefings because the big eyes and bright colors hold the presidents attention longer.
If you think Sesame Street-like characters could be distracting in the workplace, then you should consider the camouflage factor. That’s right, the Monster Laptop Sleeve will not only eat your expensive laptop, it will tort criminals looking to steal high end items, they’ll just dismiss it as a child’s pillowcase or something of the like.
*If you’re not a fan of the cookie monster blue, this handmade novelty comes in three other colors.

Meet Spike. He’s the gleaming example for survival of the fittest. Over the ages he has warded predators and pen thieves alike by mimicking the appearance of the painful cactus plant when in fact, Spike is extremely soft and comfortable to the touch.
For those of you that don’t believe in facts: After Eve so viscously committed the most heinous crime of eating an apple, God smitten all the other creatures of the earth by creating the food chain, but he so graciously built in some natural defenses, such as prickers; and so it came to be… the Spike Pen.
If you don’t believe either of those, then Spike was created by Fred and Friends for people that want a little green on their desk.

[Get It $6]
Once again Fred & Friends bring us something effectively useless, yet so tempting to buy. I generally don’t write notes, or use paper for that matter, but I am going to be putting notes and talking bubbles in the margins of everything!
Each pack comes with 25 extra large paper clips, extra thick and plated in gunmetal black.

[Get It $1800]
The Macbook Air is ultrathin, ultraportable and ultrapointless. Until I can fold my laptop up like a piece of paper and put it in my pocket, it doesn’t really matter if it’s 0.16 or 0.76 inches thick. In fact I don’t really see the point in making it uber thin for portability just so I can carry around a tote bag full of attachments like an external DVD player special Ethernet jack attachment.
I will admit that Apple likes to raise the bar, and if I were to buy a new laptop today, I’d go for the thinnest most powerful notebook available, but we may need to re-access that which constitutes utility opposed to obsessing over smaller technology.

The Action Pad by Behance is great for people that have trouble with the traditional writing format of left-to-right / top-to-bottom. Ok, that’s not really fair, I guess we’re all guilty of scribbling notes down all over the place and the Action Pad provides some structure for easy note taking. With four distinct zones on each page this notepad is perfect for classes, meetings, or brainstorming sessions. If you’re anything like me, you’ll forget everything important unless you make a note of it, then you’ll forget where you put the note; this is where the Action Pad rides in on his stallion to save the day. If you know forgetful people, tell them about the Action Pad; or better yet, write it down for them.

It is not easy to find a brief with both class and utility. The Salvatore Ferragamo Revival Double-Gusset Briefcase easily handles both with its nero stamped calfskin material, double gusseted body, and it’s signature logo embossed lock. For $1400, this is a briefcase that you’ll be able to use that works and still says to everyone in the board room, “Yes, I’m better than you.”
