Watch out!
From designer Nuno Oliveira comes a new concept design for the people that want to wear a Gucci bracelet without having to sport an additional time piece. The bracelet has a cover that slides open to reveal a glass LED time display. If you want to enjoy the flawless design of Gucci jewelry without the traditional look of a wrist watch, then you’ll have to hope Gucci puts this one into production.

Ever since I saw the color screen cell phone back in 98′ I’ve been waiting for a combo watch phone. LG Electronics finally made that dream come true. The Touch Watch Phone LG-GD910 will go into production in the second half of 2009. This music playing, texting, Bluetooth, voice control, touch screen, cell phone, watch uses 3G Video Telephony (VT) service with GSM Quadband Network capabilities. This means it broadcasts and receives video images while the GSM means that it will work with T-Mobil or AT&T, but not Sprint or Verizon (which utilize CDMA). Of course this is irrelevant considering LG has no plans to release the watch phone in the US. Oh well, I guess I’ll have to wait a little longer.

What time is it?
We all know that, but what else can your watch do?
The Tech 4O TraiLeader packs an impressive set of features into a sleek design. Along with the basics of time, date, various alarms, stopwatch and countdown, the Tech 4O TraiLeader has a thermometer, altimeter, barometer, compass, and it even measures your speed, distance, pace and calories.
I like to use the “time freeze” feature to pause the space-time continuum and pick peoples pockets; haven’t you always wished you could do that? -maybe not pick pockets, but when you’re running late or need answers for your exam.
Even though the Tech 4O TraiLeader can’t really freeze time, it can track laps, log vertical, sound altitude alarms, and even forecast weather changes, so at least you’ll never have a reason for being late ever again.

OMEGA POCKET WATCH 1932
Don’t tell China, but all three are actually gold. As you might already know, OMEGA is the official timekeeper of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The company was the first to be entrusted with this massive responsibility back in 1932 for the Los Angeles Games; hence the commemoration above. My question is, do actual Olympic medals even cost as much as these watches?
Housed in hand-crafted contemporary yellow, white or red 18-carat gold cases, the beating heart of the “1932” is the OMEGA double column wheel chronograph with a 24’’’ (53.7mm), 36,000 beat movement calibre (assembled from restored components). The gilt plates and bridges have been reconditioned while the 57mm white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, 5-60 minute-scale and red OMEGA name are identical to those of the chronographs used at the Olympic Games in 1932.

If you can’t pronounce the name, it must be expensive.
The Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe time piece (made by the Georg Jensen company) is a timeless design from a woman who captured the interest of clients such as Pablo Picasso, Ingrid Bergman and Billie Holiday.
Vivianna’s original bangle design was aimed at simplicity with its mirror face, open wrist, and lack of numbers which all seemed to intensify the perception of living in the moment while breaking the shackles of time imposed by the traditional systemized wrist watch. The most recent model in this elegant line embodies Vivianna’s original artistic fragrance and comes in five flavors: Stainless Steel, Gold, Black, pavé set or encircled diamonds- Ooh la la.
